Scope and Sequence
Week 1
I Put Others First, and I am Not Selfish: Children will learn that they need to decide to put others first. Jesus is a great example of this as He came as a servant, putting our interests before His own.
Week 2
I Treat Others With Respect: Children will learn they must choose to regard others as valuable. God loves and values all people and Jesus gave himself for all people; therefore, we respect and love all people.
Week 3
I am Always Grateful for Everything Good in My Life: Children will learn to be thankful to the Lord for His love and goodness toward us! Even when things look bad, be thankful that Jesus has the answer and the solution!
Week 4
I am Fiercely Loyal: Children will learn that nothing they do or don’t do will diminish Jesus’ loyalty toward them. When pressure comes, we can make a decision to stay loyal, faithful and pray for the Holy Spirit to strengthen us.
Week 5
Build a Castle in Your Heart: Children will learn to carefully guard the Word in their hearts through the power of the Holy Spirit. The Superkid Creed builds a monument in our hearts and minds to help us when pressure comes.
Week 6
I am Full of Courage: Children will learn to be courageous by being on guard and standing firm in faith. We can find strength in knowing that the Lord is our protector and God has promised to be with us no matter where we go.
Week 7
I Refuse Fear of Any Kind: Children will learn that you can’t walk in faith and fear at the same time. Fear is not from God so when we choose to believe and fight FEAR with words of faith we win. We can remind ourselves that Jesus will not fail us or leave us.
Week 8
I am Merciful and Kind: Children will learn that God has been kind and merciful to us even when we didn’t deserve it. When we sow a seed of mercy and kindness, we will reap the same in our own lives. This example will make a big impact on others!
Week 9
I am Generous: Children will learn that it’s easy to be generous when they trust God to provide. It’s your choice to participate in the Giving Cycle and when you do, you will be blessed because you will experience love and joy.
Week 10
I am Fair-Minded: Children will learn that we have God’s Word, His Wisdom and the Holy Spirit to help us be fair-minded. To be fair-minded we must learn to think like God, using His standards and His wisdom.
Week 11
I Do Not Get Offended: Children will learn through the story of Joseph how he chose not to be offended. As a result, God caused Joseph to have favor, and success in every situation. Offense can grow into bitterness if you don’t get rid of it.
Week 12
I am Quick to Forgive: Children will learn that forgiveness changes everything! They will learn the importance of forgiving quickly and that we forgive by faith no matter how we feel or what we see.
Week 13
Jesus and Me: Children will learn that through Christ Jesus they will find strength to accomplish tasks and receive direction in life. God is working inside them, giving them both the desire and the power to please Him. Living with a heart to please the Lord is the sure way to victory.
