The Bible is filled with wonderful promises we can pray and believe for the kids we reach! Here are some of our favorites:
“And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children” (Isaiah 54:13).
“Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding” (Proverbs 4:1).
“My son, keep thy father’s commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. When thou goest, it shall lead thee…and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee” (Proverbs 6:20-22).
“A wise son heareth his father’s instruction” (Proverbs 13:1).
“A fool despiseth his father’s instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent” (Proverbs 15:5).
“Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his father” (Proverbs 28:7).
“Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth” (Ephesians 6:1-3).
“Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord” (Colossians 3:20).
“Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart” (2 Timothy 2:22).
