  • What equipment do I need?

  • For your service you'll want a DVD player and large TV or video projector (16:9 picture size is recommended for best viewing). You may also want to use a sound system for praise and worship, especially if you use a video projector.

    For preparation, we provide an audio CD with previews of each lesson and encouragement for teachers. The CD-ROM requires a computer, and you will probably want to print out a "Flow of Service" and "Take-Home Handout" sheets.

  • Are there instructions or guidelines for using this curriculum?
  • Yes! The Training Kit is included free in Volume One, and contains a DVD for leaders and team training, as well as a CD-ROM with samples and handouts.
  • How many lessons are in each volume?
  • There are 13 weeks of lessons in each volume, with DVD, Lesson Book, CD, CD-ROM and posters.

  • Do I need to buy a lot of props and materials in order to use this curriculum?
  • No, but there are some props and materials that will enhance the teaching experience. For your convenience, we have included in your kit simple lists and instructions for activities.
  • How much time do I have to put into preparing for each lesson?
  • The great thing about Superkid Academy is the combination of video segments, activities, and teaching. In fact, the videos and activities are all designed to reinforce the lesson! We know that investing time in study will produce great results in your services, and we’ve provided teachers several tools to maximize their preparation time: Lesson outlines in your Lesson Book, Teacher Tips, and Preparation Audio CD’s that offer a preview of the lesson with personal encouragement.
